Product
Our goal at Aurion is to be the 'lifetime HR solution for our customers'. Our single product contains everything we've learned -- and we support customer-specific changes for life.
We see the future of HR holistically. Here, HR solutions operate in a broader business context. Everyone who works for the organisation and any business process that relies on HR information is a 'customer' of the HR solution.
Key drivers for 'whole of business HR' are productivity savings through process automation, process integration and shared or common services, remaining cost-competitive in the market, managing an 'on demand' workforce and improved governance.
Employers also face a tight labour market and a changing workforce, with Baby Boomers, Gen X and Gen Y having different expectations on career, work/life balance and the HR services. For example, HR applications must support both the 'do for me' approach of Baby Boomers with the 'do it myself' attitude of Gen X and Y.
Self service, reporting, workflow and business integration are key to 'whole of business HR'.
These simplify HR management and deliver productivity savings across the entire business, whereas the focus in the past has largely been on productivity improvements within HR and payroll. Consistent with this is a growing preference for a single, fully-integrated enterprise HR solution covering the full range of HR and payroll activities.
Aurion has a track record of innovation. We were the first to deliver Self Service in Australia and one of the first globally. Building on our highly automated and mature payroll system, we recently delivered integrated Timekeeper and Award Interpreter modules to extend the reach of the software and address the needs of an 'on demand' workforce.
We've delivered native workflow, query tool and API Builder. This general-purpose business integration tool enables any third party product to extract data from Aurion in real time. We delivered multi-country processing together with New Zealand payroll. The ability to run payroll for multiple countries in a single dataset is essential for companies with an Asia Pacific operation who want the productivity and cost benefits of a 'whole of business' HR solution.
