Aurion Site Review Services

Purpose

An optional follow-up service offered by Aurion, normally after implementation, is an Aurion Site Review. An Aurion implementation consultant will visit your site and conduct a full review of your configuration and use of the implemented modules. The review will include discussions with your Aurion Administrators and end-user staff.

You will then receive a report detailing issues and/or solutions that will enable your organisation to operate Aurion more effectively, even when your organisation has been using Aurion for some time.

Who Should Be Involved?

Our consultant will need to discuss Aurion performance and requirements with Payroll and HR staff who use Aurion on a daily basis, staff performing the Aurion Coordinator or Administrator roles in your organisation and IT support staff.

Prerequisites

Staff should be proficient in the use of Aurion and have a good understanding of the system and the requirements for its use in your organisation.

What Will Be Achieved?

Our consultant will review the software’s configuration, and make recommendations for improvements, as identified.

Your staff may benefit from having their Aurion training reinforced by reviewing the use and configuration of the selected Aurion modules.

Duration

Timeframes will depend on the number of Aurion modules and procedures involved, but the on-site review would normally be completed in a day or two. You could choose to utilise this option in tandem with other services or training options while the consultant is on-site. Because each organisation’s requirements will be different, an initial discussion with a member of the Customer Service Centre to discuss your needs, timeframes and the available options is generally of use.

What Preparation Is Required?

Depending on the options selected, our consultant will require access to your Aurion Test database, which should be a very recent copy of your Production or ‘live’ database.

What Does a Site Review Involve?

Our consultant will review the configuration of coding and business rules supporting the Aurion modules you have implemented. Some analysis of the data will also be performed, including checks of data input and output. Aurion interface procedures will also be reviewed, as will general system operation and security.

By discussing Aurion’s operation and use with your staff, any other issues of concern will also be incorporated.
