Site Procedures Documentation
PurposeWhen implementing Aurion in partnership with you, our consultants gain a thorough understanding of your existing Payroll/HR procedures and practices, and how these will work with Aurion functionality.
To make the most of this blend of joint knowledge, we offer preparation of a detailed Aurion configuration guide documenting key aspects of your Aurion configuration. This can be a useful reference guide for your Aurion Coordinator and our Customer Service Centre when providing support to your organisation. Sometimes, when an organisation’s resources and/or Aurion expertise is limited, it is a worthwhile option to include preparation of this configuration guide in an implementation plan.
A related service available to you is for our consultants to assist your staff, either during or after an Aurion implementation, in documenting payroll, costing, data entry, and other procedures specific to your site. This option may involve simply refining and adapting your existing procedural documentation, or combining our implementers’ Aurion experience with the site-specific experience of your staff to create new documentation.
Who Will Benefit From These Services?
People who will be using Aurion on a daily basis, those performing the Aurion Coordinator or Administrator role in your organisation, and/or other staff responsible for procedural documentation.
Prerequisites
Staff participating in this exercise should have a good understanding of Aurion. They should also be experienced in your organisation’s procedures and practices. Any existing procedural documentation is also useful.
What Will Be Achieved?
Your staff will have their Aurion training reinforced by reviewing and documenting procedures in the Aurion modules selected. The documentation can form a useful training tool for other people within your organisation who become Aurion users.
Duration
Timeframes will depend on the number of Aurion modules and procedures involved, and whether an outline or full procedures are required. Work may be conducted both on-site and remotely. Because each organisation’s requirements are different, we suggest speaking with a member of the Customer Service Centre to discuss your needs, timeframes and available options.
What Preparation Is Required?
Depending on the options selected, our Implementation Consultant will require access to your Aurion Training database and any existing procedural documentation. Access to your Aurion Coordinator and IT staff will also be required at various stages.
If classroom-type training is included, each attendee also requires access to a PC and a normal logon to the Aurion training environment. Aurion is able to assist you with this preparation.
