Aurion Coordinator Training
Purpose
Most Aurion implementations include training of one or more Aurion Coordinators, who are in-house Aurion experts who may become the organisation’s Aurion system administrators once the software is in production. These staff are usually responsible for your in-house configuration, daily code setup and changes, and liaison with our Customer Service Centre.
Staff movements, rotations, leave absences, etc, often leave a ‘knowledge gap’ in this area. Our consultants are readily available to offer specialised Aurion Coordinator training aimed at filling this gap. Sometimes a short revision session can be of benefit to your Aurion Coordinators and to your organisation’s administration of the software.
Aurion can conduct training to upgrade experienced users to Aurion Coordinators or refresher training for out of practice coordinators. Because coordinators have varying amounts of experience with Aurion, the training can be structured to suit your needs by selecting specific options.
Who Should Attend?
Staff who will be performing the Aurion Coordinator or Administrator role in your organisation.
Prerequisites
Generally, people attending Aurion Coordinator training must be reasonably proficient in the use of Aurion, and have a good understanding of your organisation’s employment conditions.
What Will Be Achieved?
Training and instruction will be provided in some or all of the following Aurion topics, depending on the options you choose:
• Batch processing
• Security configuration
• Aspects of reporting (separate specialised report training available)
• Interfaces with other systems & linkages to other applications
• Specialised code configuration
• Business rules
• Boilerplate configuration
• Dataload
• Audit requirements

Duration
Depending on the number of training topics you choose for your staff, the training can be structured around a small group (1- 3) over one or two days. Training is usually conducted at your site in a workshop format. For assistance in designing specific training for your needs, we recommend contacting our Customer Service Centre to discuss your needs, timeframes and the available options.
What Preparation Is Required?
Depending on the content of the training to be provided, our consultant will need access to your Aurion Test database. If hands-on training is required, each attendee also requires access to a PC and a normal logon to the Aurion training environment. Aurion is able to assist with this preparation.
