Aurion Configuration Training
Aurion Purpose
Aurion provides configuration training for each module as an integral part of an Aurion implementation. We also provide configuration services for all Aurion modules. These services are explained separately within this document.
Configuration training gives Aurion users the ability to customise the software (through code table changes), both at initial implementation and in the future. Configuration training is particularly relevant where:
- An organisation changes the way it does business
- Staff movements and turnover require additional or replacement personnel to be trained in how to manage an Aurion configuration - with an eye to coping with any future configuration changes required. Implementation consultants experienced in private and public sector operations are available to provide assistance and on-site training, enabling your Aurion users to configure Aurion's internal tables and business rules to meet new employment conditions.
Who Should Attend?
Standard configuration training is normally reserved for experienced staff proficient in using Aurion, those who administer Aurion on a daily basis, and staff who understand and administer employment conditions for your organisation.
You may also have new people joining your organisation who need to know what Aurion configuration is all about. Our implementation consultants can customise configuration training for your staff based on your requirements.

Prerequisites
Staff must have experience using Aurion or an understanding of HR operations within your organisation.
What Will Be Achieved?
Either via a consultant attending on-site or remotely, an Aurion configuration setup will be established for input and testing by your staff. Depending upon your requirements you may also:
- Have staff trained in the configuration of Aurion
- Have staff trained to configure Aurion inhouse for any future changes to employment conditions
- Receive a fully-detailed configuration document
- Receive certification of configuration changes made by your staff
Duration
Because changes to an organisation's employment conditions can range from simple to complex and encompass many Aurion modules, it is best to speak with a member of the Customer Service Centre to discuss your needs and the solutions available to meet them.
You may choose to have a consultant either visit your site or remotely review proposed configuration changes. Depending upon your preferences, training of your people can be via workshop or traditional presentation methods.
What Preparation Is Required?
You will need to provide access to your Aurion Test database and to your staff responsible for administering the new conditions.
Where hands-on training is included, each attendee will also require access to a PC with a normal logon to the Aurion training environment. Aurion is able to assist you with this preparation.
