Managing Director

Silvano Basso

Silvano is Managing Director and a founding shareholder of Aurion Corporation P/L. The company was founded in 1991 and Silvano was Managing Director from that time until resigning in June 2000. He returned to the role in May 2002. Prior to joining Aurion, Silvano was Product Manager for HRM Consulting, the original developers of the software. Before that, he spent 12 years as a HR practitioner and was the project manager for the customer that developed the first generation of the software that Aurion owns today.

Brian Coleman
Product Team Leader

Brian is a founding shareholder of Aurion Corporation P/L and was a member of the team that first developed Aurion software in 1986. Since then Brian has remained an integral part of the Aurion design, development and delivery-to-market process. Brian was a director of Aurion from 1991 to February 2000. Brian has an Honours Degree in Economics and a Graduate Diploma in Computing.

Frank Gilmartin
Commercial Manager

Frank has 20 years' experience as a business management professional, with a background in Financial Management, Operations and Sales. This experience has been gained through roles in Manufacturing, Distribution and Service organisations, based in Ireland, England, New Zealand and Australia. Upon completing an Economics Degree at University College Dublin, Frank joined a Chartered Accounting firm in Dublin and worked in the area of advisory services allied to Information Technology. During his career he has worked with some highly recognisable names in the marketplace, including Apple Computer, Coca Cola, MacGregor Golf and Tommy Hilfiger.

Lynn Kincade
Professional Services Manager

Lynn has over 20 years of professional services management and consulting. She has implemented major systems in eight countries - including a large number of HR and payroll solutions. She began her career as an accountant in a savings and loan, and moved into financial systems consulting with a major international consulting firm. After four years she transferred to Australia where she continued to manage major software implementation and service delivery teams. Lynn then moved into executive management, taking on two general management roles. In these roles, Lynn managed over 100 staff, budgets exceeding $35 million - and significantly transformed the customer focus and service delivery of the departments that she ran.
